    Culture Business 2018 in Canberra is the leading conference for fundraising in the arts. Mayvin Global is proud to be a Conference Partner.

    Culture Business is dedicated to fundraising in the arts sector. The conference gathers sponsors, philanthropists, foundations and professionals from arts organisations to discuss cutting-edge strategies and case studies in corporate sponsorship, philanthropy, organisational behaviour and alternate funding models.

    With a record breaking number of galleries and museums, Canberra is the new host city for the third edition of Culture Business in Australia. The conference will take place in some of the most prestigious venues of Australia's capital city.  It has previously been held in Sydney (see the Sydney video) and Melbourne previously and internationally in. New York, Paris and Madrid.

    The conference program will cover every aspect of fundraising in the arts: from philanthropy to membership, online retail, communications, corporate sponsorship, and government funding. The panel of local and international speakers will reach beyond the arts, to leaders in technology, business, and corporate sponsorship.

    The conference will discuss:

    • How does one prospect, cultivate and retain a corporate sponsor?
    • How can a crisis be transformed into an opportunity?
    • What are the steps involved in designing, adopting and sticking to an effective long-term fundraising strategy?
    • How can we best engage with our boards and committees?
    • What type of development staffing structure is most conducive to success in fundraising?

    There is a great line up of international and Australian speakers including the newly appointed Director of the National Gallery of Australia Nick Mitzevich, Alison Wright also from the NGA, Will Cary of the Barnes Foundation in Pennsylvania, Pascal Hufschmid from the Musee de lÉlysee in Switzerland and Danielle Champagne, Director of Musée des beaux-arts, Montréal. Speakers are continuing to be added.
